From local communities to global aid, period kits make a difference.

At the Fihri Foundation, we believe in a world where women don't have to use tent pieces, dirty rags or leaves to manage their periods.

Who We Are

The Fihri Foundation began with one mother’s determination to restore dignity in times of crisis. Today, we are a global volunteer movement delivering period products to women and girls who need them most.

We had the pleasure of partnering with African Menstrual Health Initiative (AMI) and International Healthcare Volunteers (IHCV) to host a period palooza at the Aggrey Memorial A.M.E Zion Senior High School in Cape Coast, Ghana.

Girl Scout Troop 82543 packed period kits to distribute to women and girls in Massachusetts.

A heartfelt thank you to our global partners for supporting the 1 Million Period Product Palooza campaign. We could not do this work without you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose where my donation goes?
Yes. At checkout, you will have the option to select the region of the world you’d like your donation to support.

How do you decide where to donate products?
We receive requests from organizations in need and carefully review them. Our team meets virtually with each organization to ensure the partnership is a good fit and that our support will have meaningful impact.

How do you decide which products to send?
We collaborate directly with our partners on the ground. They guide us in choosing products that are culturally appropriate and best suited for their communities.

Do you use sustainable period products?
Yes, absolutely. All of the kits we pack are made with sustainable products. In some cases, when we must source products locally due to shipping limitations, we cannot always guarantee sustainability, as it depends on the resources available in that region.

How do you deliver products?
We use every method available—planes, trains, automobiles, and more. We are fortunate to work with shipping companies, airlines, and volunteers who help transport kits. Sometimes our team members even carry products in their own luggage. In situations where shipping is not possible, we source products locally to ensure that support still reaches the community in need.
