‍ ‍Africa

Fihri Foundation's work across Africa reflects our deepest commitment to menstrual equity and dignity for women and girls on the continent.

In Sudan, we partnered with the White Nile Youth Association and HHRDS to deliver critical menstrual health support to women and girls enduring the hardships of conflict and displacement.

In Ghana, we were honored to partner with the African Menstrual Health Initiative (AMI) and International Healthcare Volunteers (IHCV) to host the very first Period Palooza at the historic Aggrey Memorial A.M.E. Zion Senior High School in Cape Coast β€” a landmark moment in our mission to normalize menstrual health conversations and ensure girls have the products they need to stay in school and thrive.

In Uganda, we joined hands with Raise Community Up to extend our reach to women and girls in need, and in Nigeria, we are proud to collaborate with the African Menstrual Health Initiative (AMI) and Doctors Health Initiative to bring period products to underserved communities.

Across borders and through powerful local partnerships, Fihri Foundation is helping to build an Africa where no woman or girl is held back by period poverty.
